As changes to current lockdown measures are being made frequently and are different for each state in Australia we will be keeping you updated with the latest information below. 

Overall in the last few weeks across the country, we’ve already begun to see positive early market indicators such as an increase in new mortgage activity and pre-list activity according to Core Logic’s Early Market Indicator report. 

Below we’ll outline the current measures in place for inspections, auctions and listings in your state.

New South Wales

As of Wednesday May 6th. 

Eased measures will take place as on Saturday May 8th these include: 

  • Public inspections can resume and be advertised 
  • Public auctions can resume and be advertised 

However, strict social distancing guidelines must be in place. 

These guidelines include:

  • That social distancing of 1.5m is maintained
  • A maximum of 1 person per 4sqm of floor space is allowed
  • Auctions will be held outdoors where possible
  • All details of attendees must be recorded

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and clients still remain a priority focus, so we ask that if you are feeling unwell that you do not attend the inspection. In addition, we will still be offering private inspections for those who wish to attend in smaller groups.

Queensland

As of Wednesday May 6th. 

Eased measures will take place as of Wednesday May 6th these include: 

  • Public inspections of a maximum of 6 people including the agent can resume and be advertised 
  • There is no change to auctions and these must be held online

However, strict social distancing guidelines must be in place. 

These guidelines include:

  • That social distancing of 1.5m is maintained
  • A maximum of 1 person per 4sqm of floor space is allowed
