Tom is a former carpenter and builder who joined LJ Hooker Avnu after a successful career in television and radio.
Having spent more than 15 years at the Seven Network, Tom has always had a love of renovation and building homes. Tom was a key member of the Room for Improvement team, co-presented The Great Outdoors, and later went on to work as part of the Seven Sport team. He won Dancing With The Stars in 2005 and, most recently, was a co-host of Seven’s premier afternoon show, The Daily Edition. Tom has built trust and rapport with Australians across the country.
Tom has bought and sold and renovated six residential properties and recently completed his biggest renovation. His own experiences in real estate have shaped the agent he is today, and Avnu’s game-changing app and online platform allow him to keep a step ahead of the competition. “I want to use the technology we have at Avnu to bring everyone into the 21st Century when it comes to real estate,” Tom says. “It allows me to be able to communicate more efficiently with vendors to make the experience seamless, and gives me more time to spend with the vendor actually doing the business that gets results.”
Tom is a key member of the sales team headed by LJ Hooker Avnu agent Michael Coombs. “Tom is a Mosman boy who has been involved in property for most of his life,” Michael says. “He is a passionate local, he understands our area and its people, and his knowledge of the Lower North Shore market is impressive.”
